Meet Coach Adriana!!!
Adriana Rosales is an endurance sport and fitness coach at FSA Fitness and Coaching in El Paso, Texas. After finishing junior college cross country from El Paso Community College, Adriana transferred to The University of Texas at El Paso and continued racing but for a completely different sport. After a running injury Adriana was introduced to the sport of triathlon by her junior college coach Felix Hinojosa and to the sport of cycling by Crazy Cat Cyclery owner and founder Rob Barrio. Adriana was thankful for the help she got from these coaches, in becoming the athlete and person she is now and wanted to do the same for others. She coached the Valley View middle school swim team for 3 years and helped her coach mentor triathletes in swimming, cycling and running. She found a passion and love for the challenge and motivation she helped others gain. After graduating from The University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, Adriana started working at FSA, coaching triathletes and helping members gain better health and fitness. Adriana’s hope for the future are to be a NCAA triathlon or swim team coach. After meeting two NMSU triathlon club students looking for a coach, Adriana gladly took the opportunity to coach the club in order to gain more experience and fulfill her dream of racing and taking a team to the Collegiate Club national Championships. Adriana’s goals for the club are to get every triathlon club member at their best level of performance and help them reach their team goals. Adriana has competed in many triathlon sprints and Olympic distance events, including one half ironman, she plans to continue participating in running and triathlon events, including the USAT National Championships
